Hezbollah Popular — al Qaeda Jealous

Check out this story from The National.  Hezbollah has successfully portrayed itself as a resistance group, popular with Shiite and Sunni alike while al Qaeda has a reputation as “terrorists.”   A 2008 Zogby Arab Public Opinion poll revealed that 27 per cent of Arabs chose Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, as their ideal leader – putting him in first place of any named by those polled.
